Scared Faithless

Many gay men and women have felt specifically unwelcome in church, temple or mosque. Yet scores of others have found their community of faith to be a place of comfort and healing. Is it possible to be gay and have a profound sense of faith? With beautiful choral music and candid stories from the ranks of our members, we will explore this rich realm as only Seattle Men's Chorus can.

Featuring Captain Smartypants

Small Ensemble From Seattle Men's Chorus

Captain Smartypants was formed in 2000 by Seattle Men's Chorus assistant artistic director Eric Lane Barnes. They have but one goal: to make you laugh while creating exquisite harmony.

Captain Smartypants has gained a reputation in Seattle for telling it like it is, telling it like it isn't, and telling it like it probably never will be. Part improv-comedy troupe, part a cappella showcase, part vaudeville extravaganza, these boys sing and dance like the illegitimate lovechild of 'N Sync and Monty Python's Flying Circus.
