2010 HOLIDAY RAFFLE

A ubiquitous sight this time of year for both Seattle Men’s Chorus (SMC) and Seattle Women’s Chorus (SWC) is tuxedoed and sparkling-bloused singers standing in the hall aisles and lobby with an arm held high above their heads and a fan of blank raffle tickets waiting to be filled out and purchased. Chorus members make it easy for you to purchase raffle tickets — and they love having the opportunity to meet and talk with their fans during the transaction — before the concert, during intermission, and even post-concert.
Once again this year we will be providing peel-and-stick labels in your programs, as well as pens, so you can fill the labels out ahead of time and quickly and easily purchase your raffle tickets. Seasoned fans often bring sheets of return address labels to make the process of filling-out raffle tickets quick and painless!
Our annual raffle is one of the largest in the State of Washington and if you compared the odds of your chances of winning to those of winning the State Lottery, you might wonder how you could possibly lose! Raffle tickets are $5.00 each, and again this year you will be able to purchase 5 tickets for $20, giving you an additional chance at winning one of the five amazing prizes.
Over the past years, we have found that there is nothing like the feeling of handing over a set of keys for a brand new car to one of patrons whose current car was on it last leg, or awarding cruise, trip, or airline tickets to someone who has been saving trying to find a way to take a vacation, or even presenting a fanatic package of all the Choruses’ CDs to a fan who can enjoy our music all year long, and a pair of season tickets for the following season!

Over 50,000 audience members hear the important message that the Choruses have to share each year, and it is only through your added support that we can continue to advocate for inclusiveness, and combat misinformed ideas that seek to remove non-discrimination protections and relegate people to different classes. - Drawing will be held during the final performance of Holiday Glee, the Seattle Men’s Chorus Holiday Concert, on Monday, December 20, 2010. Show starts at 7:30 pm at Benaroya Hall. You need not be present to win.
